Associate Accountant

Our growing team is eager to hire a recent college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required) and qualified to sit for the CPA exam (preferred).  The ideal candidate will be just out of college with internship experience or have up to two years of experience in public accounting and actively pursuing their CPA designation.   Applicants must possess strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, sound analytical and problem solving skills.  Experience with accounting programs and reporting tools such as QuickBooks, Microsoft Office applications, and Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite is preferred. 

The position requires knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles, experience preparing financial statements and basic skills preparing corporate, partnership and/or individual income tax returns. Many of the job duties will be deadline driven therefore the ideal candidate should be organized, able to prioritize workflow and prepared for hands on client contact.
