Donald Baloun
Don Baloun has been practicing tax and accounting since 1978. A product of Fenwick H.S., Don went on to receive his Bachelor’s in Accounting from St. Norbert College and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Don and his late brother Jim started their own CPA firm in the 1970’s with one client and grew the firm into a local stalwart, financial services gem. The firm merged into W&M in February 2025 bringing legacy, their renowned skills, and a stellar client base.
He focuses his services toward his true love of numbers, accounting system implementations, and strategic advice. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Illinois CPA Society.
Raised in Oak Park, Don is a huge life-long Cubs Fan. He loves all sports and enjoys spending time with his grown daughter and son and his five grandchildren.
